Mike Tidy to Present on Industry 4.0 at Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Virtual Event

Mike Tidy, Grantek’s Vice President of Operations, has been selected by Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters to present: “Industry 4.0 – Why Digital Manufacturing is Critical for Success and How to Get Started” at their virtual event. Mike will be speaking at 4:30pmET on November 15^th.

Digital manufacturing has radically changed manufacturing and supply chain practices for most global product companies. Adoption of Industry 4.0 initially delivered efficiency gains and cost reduction, but now these technologies have become necessary to compete. Downward pressure to conform has begun to impact small and medium-sized manufacturers that work with these larger organizations. Soon, refined and standardized tools will be required to compete at all levels, and those companies that have not planned for digital solutions will need to get started to remain successful.

Mike Tidy is a seasoned executive leader who has worked in technology-based businesses for the past 25 years. Mike joined Grantek earlier in 2021 after leading a team focused on delivering digital tools and data insights to manufacturing customers. The team Mike most recently led consisted of software developers, customer solution engineers, salespeople, product and services marketers, customer and solution operations teams and onsite Reliability Engineering consultants.
