Previous Grantekian Makes Her Dream Come True…

Grantek Community Involvement

Trista Bonds previously worked in the Systems Group here in Chicago. She left Grantek because she had a vision to help improve her community. They were suffering from violence and domestic dispute issues well about the national level and she wanted to do something about it. Through her local church she began a not for profit training program in robotics and industrial coding. Patric Brown of Grantek was honored to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony last month where Trista was recognized for her efforts by the mayor of Chicago – Rahm Emanuel, the CEO of JP Morgan – Jamie Dimon, and many others who were major contributors to the program.

The Chicago office has participated in this program by supplying training panels to the program. We teamed up with our local distributor and panel shop to assist in the cause and all parties contributed significantly. We continue to assist her group by providing technical assistance to their trainees and by participating on their steering committee.
