The February 2022 issue of Automation World includes an article asking if automation technology delivers on expectations. This article quotes Grantek’s Director of Smart Manufacturing Solutions, Bryon Hayes. Automation World suggests “technologies that don’t really improve productivity or reduce costs are referred to as ‘so-so technologies’”, then asks how manufacturers can avoid adopting these ‘so-so technologies’.
