CESMII Smart Manufacturing Acceleration Framework

CESMII Smart Manufacturing Acceleration Framework offers a maturity assessment and roadmap methodology built specifically around the priorities and realities of North American manufacturing; developed by CESMII, the Collaborative Ecosystems Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute.

The framework is a structured, six-step process; Explore, Assess, Focus, Roadmap, Execute & Sustain, and Validate. The framework moves an organization from a shared understanding of smart manufacturing through a data-driven assessment of where it stands today, and into a prioritized, fundable roadmap. The “Assess” step is anchored in CESMII’s own Business Practices Assessment, which benchmarks your people, process, and technology maturity against hundreds of other manufacturers.

Several of Grantek’s consultants are certified Smart Manufacturing Roadmap Professionals through CESMII’s official certification program, so this isn’t a framework we’ve read about, it’s one our team is directly credentialed to apply. Like our Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) assessments, the output is a benchmarked view of where you stand and a prioritized list of gaps, grounded in a methodology built with North American manufacturing specifically in mind.
