Before you spend a dollar on new technology, you need an honest answer to one question: where does your operation actually stand today? A digital maturity assessment gives you that answer, not a gut feeling, not a vendor’s pitch, but a structured, benchmarked view of your people, processes, and technology against where the rest of the industry is headed.
Grantek’s maturity assessments use recognized, third-party frameworks rather than a proprietary scorecard we made up ourselves; including the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) and the CESMII Smart Manufacturing Accelerator Framework, depending on your industry and geography. Both frameworks evaluate the same fundamental question from different angles: are your people, processes, and technology actually ready for the next stage of digital investment, and if not, where’s the gap?
The output isn’t just a score. It’s a clear picture of your strengths, your gaps, and, most importantly a prioritized starting point. For most clients, this assessment is the first step before any Navigator engagement or Accelerator deployment, because it tells us where to focus that work instead of guessing. We select the framework based on your industry, geography, and the questions you’re trying to answer. Multi-site, multi-national manufacturers often gravitate toward SIRI for its international recognition. US-based manufacturers, or those already engaged with CESMII initiatives, often prefer the CESMII framework. Neither is inherently “better”, they’re built for different contexts.
