July 21, 2026

Staff from Grantek’s Cleveland and Chicago Offices volunteered their time to offer their expertise during Science Olympiad’s Content & Build Clinic in Naperville. IL from July 15-17, 2026.
Founded in 1984, Science Olympiad is the premier team Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) competition in the United States, providing standards-based challenges to 6,600 teams at 425 tournaments in all 50 states. Grantek’s Brian Hoffman, Andrew Abramson, Bob Poulsen and Anthony Venen participated as instructors during the Content & Build Clinic.
Content & Build Clinic is a hands-on, deep dive into new events for the upcoming 2027 season. There were over two days of sessions designed to improve any school’s Science Olympiad program and help meet state core curriculum science benchmarks and standards. This event provided insight and training to high school teachers and administrators who will serve as coaches for their teams during the 2027 Science Olympiad season.
Brian, Andrew, Bob and Anthony gave back to the STEM community by running a training for 70 coaches outlining how to build a working electric vehicle model. Those coaches will use the knowledge they learned during the Content & Build Clinic when they lead their students in competition during the 2027 Science Olympiad season.
