About the Presenter: Over two decades, Jim Toman has been at the forefront of analyzing, specifying, developing, and standardizing innovative information technology solutions for manufacturers. From defining early data-driven automated distribution systems to helping shape the requirements for modern MES systems, Jim has brought value in diverse industries in both discrete and process manufacturing environments. Within the last few years, Jim has been an active member of MESA International, participating in the Technical Committee and serving as Vice Chairman of the Americas Board of Directors. Currently, Jim works as Director of the Smart Manufacturing Practice/Practice Development at Grantek.
